Summer is in full swing, but behind the scenes, the LTHYW team has been hard at work preparing for an exciting season ahead. From welcoming new interns to planning our biggest events of the year, we have so much to look forward to ... and we're excited to bring you along for the journey!

 Meet Our 2026 LTHYW Interns

 Azalea Carter

Azalea is a second-year Honors student at A&T majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Marketing.

Inspired by media outlets like Teen Vogue and People Magazine, she hopes to build a career in beauty and entertainment through marketing and media relations. Azalea has experience creating social media content and serving as a manuscript editing assistant within her Honors College research department. When she's not working or studying, you'll probably find her practicing self-care or trying new recipes for friends and family.

We're excited to have her creativity and passion on the team this year!

 Perryn Jones

Perryn is a rising sophomore at A&T majoring in Economics with a Pre-Law concentration. She serves on the executive board of the Aggie Economics Association and is currently interning with the North Carolina General Assembly, where she's gaining firsthand experience in public policy while shadowing a state senator. Passionate about leadership, advocacy, and community impact, Perryn is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for others and we're thrilled to have her helping shape this year's LTHYW experience.

Our signature campus experience is returning this fall, and we're already preparing another unforgettable event featuring inspiring conversations, beauty brands, scholarships, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with fellow students and professionals.

We're working on something NEW with our friends at WOC Worldwide... and trust us ... you won't want to miss it.

While we aren't quite ready to reveal all the details, we're creating an experience centered around beauty, wellness, connection, and community.
